Camille Lellouche never ends. In parallel with her acting career with the film The gifts in theaters on December 25, the young woman released her second album on December 6, simply titled II. She was the guest of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine this Friday, December 13 on the set of “C à vous”.
“You didn’t push yourself too hard for the title”underlined Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine. A remark having the merit of making the main person concerned laugh. “I don’t like titles. I like that we have a visual and that we don't have to worry. Let this not be a sales argument”she justified herself before explaining why the two in Roman numerals. “It means a lot. And yet, the writing of this album was not done smoothly. “When we are happy, we are less inspired. I had blank page syndrome for a year and a half. I told myself that it was no longer my job and then I met lots of people, lots of incredible musicians and composers. It rekindled that little flame in me.” But something bad has also happened in recent months.
“There was a composer friend, Nino Vella who wrote some of my pieces, who died in July. And who brought this new artistic flame and it was really love at first sight. He basically left me, it’s a bit like he abandoned me – it’s a bit selfish – in an important moment but…”she said with tremors in her voice before interrupting herself, overcome by emotion. «Hop, bravo»she said to hide her embarrassment. “I'm going to try to finish because every time I have a sob. This is important because Nino Vella was a very great composer, singer, topliner and musician. He accompanied a lot of artists and he was exceptional. His music still lives and I am very happy. I dedicated a song to him called Nino.
