Donnarumma and PSG, it’s over in six months!

Very close to extending, Gianluigi Donnarumma finally made the decision to leave PSG at the end of the season according to the Spanish press. One more project for Luis Campos and Luis Enrique in the capital.

In negotiations with Saint-Germain to extend his contract beyond June 2026, Gianluigi Donnarumma abruptly ended negotiations with the reigning French champion. The Italian goalkeeper has had a very bad time in recent weeks and in particular his relegation as number two during the Champions League match on the Bayern Munich pitch in favor of Matvey Safonov. “Gigio” has since found his place and started against RB Salzburg on Tuesday evening in the Champions League, but something broke to the point that Gianluigi Donnarumma asked to leave PSG next June.

According to information from Todo Fichajes, the decision of the former AC Milan goalkeeper is final and several options are on the table for his future. Valued at around 40 million euros by PSG, the 25-year-old goalkeeper has received colossal offers from Saudi Arabia. But while he is still young, the Italy captain does not want to hear about this destination and intends to continue his career in Europe. Two options are therefore prioritized by Donnarumma and his entourage: the Premier League and La Liga. In Spain, Atlético de Madrid have made inquiries several times in order to take over from Jan Oblak.

FC Barcelona is also an option considered, but the two La Liga leaders have not made an offer to PSG for Gianluigi Donnarumma. If the Italian goalkeeper does not find a way out in England or Spain, a return to Serie A could then see the light of day. Juve is attentive to the matter, as are Inter. His destination is therefore not yet known but a priori, the future of the Parisian goalkeeper should no longer be written in Ligue 1 next season. One more project for the Paris Saint-Germain staff but above all a golden opportunity to go after a goalkeeper 100% compatible with Luis Enrique, which is not the case for Gianluigi Donnarumma.
