Cyril Hanouna calls François Bayrou live, who hangs up on him

Cyril Hanouna likes to get involved in politics. The host proved it once again, at the expense of François Bayrou, this Wednesday, December 11 in “On marche sur la tête”, his Europe 1 show.

While France awaits the appointment of its prime minister, after the motion of censure which led to the resignation of Michel Barnier, the name of the president of Modem is circulating to succeed him. This is why Cyril Hanouna decides to call him live this afternoon. After a few rings, François Bayrou picks up, without knowing who he is talking to.

“Hello, we are live on Europe 1, it’s Cyril Hanouna and we wanted to tell you that we would be very happy if you were prime minister. So we hope, we wait”begins the host before the politician… hangs up on him.

“Amazing ! We got it anyway”laughs Cyril Hanouna before allowing himself a more scathing remark: “Do you know why he picks up? Because he's waiting for the phone call.”.

“He took you for the President of the Republic, you have just given François Bayrou an emotional lift”adds Valérie Bénaïm in the same tone as Olivier Dartigolles: “We were at the heart of political history. He thought it was the call that told him he had been nominated.. “He seemed nicer than the others and that’s why he’s mayor. He confused Europe 1 and the Elysée, the guy”concludes Cyril Hanouna, proud of his streak.
