Fixed Internet from €10 per month
DIGI Fiber Essentials is offered from €10 per month. This internet subscription offers unlimited navigation with a download speed up to 500 Mbps.
However, DIGI Fiber is currently only available in the Cureghem district of Anderlecht and will be gradually deployed in Brusselsbefore reaching other Belgian cities and towns.
DIGI explains having chosen a clean deployment of optical fiber for offer better service and lower prices to consumers.
For higher maximum speeds, two other internet subscriptions are available:
- DIGI Fiber Max : €15 per month with a maximum download speed of up to 1 Gbps.
- DIGI Fiber Ultimate : €20 per month with a maximum download speed of up to 10 Gbps.
Modem use is included at no additional cost, installation is free, and you can add landline telephony for €2.50 per monthallowing unlimited calls to national numbers.
DIGI, cheaper than the competition
Scarlet, its competitor, has long positioned itself as the price breaker on the Belgian telecommunications market. But the arrival of DIGI changes the situation.
An internet subscription with Scarletoffering unlimited browsing, costs €34 per monthwith a maximum download speed limited to 100 Mbps.
Compared to the three major operators, the difference is even more marked. By switching from Orange, Proximus or Telenet to DIGI Fiber Essentials, you could save on average €47 per month.
Here are the cheapest unlimited internet subscriptions from the three main operators in Belgium:
- Orange Home Start Fiber : €49 per month (maximum speed up to 200 Mbps).
- Next Internet Maxi : €57.99 per month (maximum speed up to 100 Mbps). With fiber: €62.99 per month (maximum speed up to 500 Mbps).
- Telenet All Internet: €63.27 per month (maximum speed up to 300 Mbps).
