Palace Skateboards is gearing up do something it’s never done throughout its 15-year existence; collaborate with Nike. According to Brendan Dunne of Complex, the London-based skate brand will take on the upcoming Air Max DN8 for its inaugural project with the Swoosh in 2025.
Importantly, the news follows reports of Palace parting ways with adidas after a fruitful ten-year run from 2014-2024. Palace and Nike haven’t gone public with a formal partnership announcement yet, but rumors of a potential late 2025/early 2026 kick-off began swirling online earlier this year.
Steering focus to the two parties’ debut sneaker of choice, the Air Max DN8 is expected to launch Spring 2025 as Nike’s next big Air Max Day shoe and the successor to the Air Max DN. Several general release colorways have surfaced ahead of the launch, but this latest news marks the model’s first known collaboration.
There aren’t any images of the Palace x Air Max DN8 available at this early stage, but know that this article as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will be kept current with any and all updates over the coming months. Complex mentions a Holiday 2025 release, meaning it may take a while for us to get a first look.
