Ajax’s line-up for the match against AZ is known. Francesco Farioli has made a number of changes.
In the midweek match against FC Utrecht, Kian Fitz-Jim, Jordan Henderson and Kenneth Taylor were in the starting line-up, but against AZ Farioli opts for Branco van den Boomen and Davy Klaassen in addition to Taylor. Devyne Rensch did not make it to the match against AZ and so he will once again be replaced by Anton Gaaei, who also played against FC Utrecht.
Up front, Steven Berghuis is on the flanks, causing Bertrand Traoré to disappear back to the reserve bench. Wout Weghorst is again Ajax’s striker. Mika Godts is back on the bench for the first time since his hamstring injury.
AZ setup: Sweet; Maikuma, Goes, Penetra, Möller Wolfe; Clasie, Mijnans, Koopmeiners; Poku, Parrott, Van Bommel
Ajax line-up: feather key; Gaaei, Sutalo, Baas, Hato; Van den Boomen, Klaassen, Taylor; Berghuis, Weghorst, Akpom
