Alain Leboeuf announced it during his speech opening the initial budget: Aizenay will benefit from a new entrance to the south-east of the city.

« Au Forest roundabout in Aizenaywe are going to develop a direct entrance ramp to Aizenay,” confided the president of the Vendée departmental council, Tuesday December 3, 2024.

The work will aim to reduce “the two slowdowns observed during peak hours at the Atlantic roundabout in La Roche and at the La Forêt roundabout in Aizenay”.

A second strap

The ramp, once fitted, should allow direct access to the cityat the exit of the 2×2 lanes.

“Motorists coming from La Roche and heading towards the center of Aizenay or the commercial area at the entrance to Aizenay will use this ramp to avoid the roundabout,” explained President Leboeuf.

” A second strap to exit towards the North will be financed by the manager of the commercial zone (Hyper U) which is a generator of significant flows. »

“The layout of both ways shunt on the roundabout in Aizenay will be completed in full in 2025,” specifies the working document submitted to elected officials.

The amount of investments was estimated at 1 080 000 €. We already know that the financial participation of the Vie et Boulogne intercommunality should amount to 30%.
