The New Popular Front seeks to regain control. While the National Rally has decided to mix its votes with those of the NFP to overthrow the government of Michel Barnier, initiatives are multiplying on the left to avoid the creation of a new right-wing majority, supported by the RN. Marine Tondelier, the national secretary of the Ecologists, took up her pen on Wednesday to propose a meeting with the party leaders who participated in the barrage against the RN in the early legislative elections.
“We must rediscover the spirit of the Republican front in the Assembly by refusing any compromise and any negotiation with the extreme right”proposed Marine Tondelier. The boss of the Greens, however, did not write to the collective leadership of the Republicans. The environmentalist recalls that the right-wing party had not systematically withdrawn its candidacies in favor of the left to beat the RN in the second round.
“Provide a budgetary framework”
