On Wednesday at 4:21 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 4 p.m. until Friday 1 p.m. for Northern Clinton and Northern Centre.
“Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph,” can be probable according to the weather service. “A lull in the snowfall is expected Thursday morning, but the snow will pick up in intensity again later in the day.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines,” states the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.
