On December 3, 2024, TF1 broadcast the grand final of Koh-Lanta : the cursed tribe. After weeks of following the adventurers, viewers were finally able to follow the final outcome. On the posts, it was Ilyesse, Charlotte and Thibault who faced each other for long hours. In the end, it was the young Belgian who managed to hold out the longest, before choosing Thibault for the final duel. At the end of the show, Denis Brogniart revealed the votes of the members of the final jury and it was ultimately Thibault who left with the check for 100,000 euros, in front of the proud eyes of his wife and his two little daughters.

A first in Koh-Lanta

Once his victory was celebrated, the winner from Corsica took part in the interviews. On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, it's on the microphone of Valérie Expert and Guillaume Ganzmann on South Radio that he returned to his experience in Koh Lanta. Thibault then revealed that he held a rather surprising record. “I only lost 2 kilos”he confided, despite the hunger that tormented him. In comparison, his playmates lost much more than that. “I couldn’t let my mother see me like that”declared Michel to our colleagues at Here is. “My body really melted, I had pain everywhere”specified Gustin to the Parisian. Both lost more than 10 kilos, just like Jacques, who informed Tele-Leisure that he had found “about its original weight”.

Koh-Lanta: Thibault cash, he would not have won without survival

During his interview, Thibault responded to those who think that victories in sporting events are decisive for winning. “Everyone has their own opinion on the matter. Concretely, I would not have won. I only won a few events, one of the most important: orientation. I am very proud of that”he said before giving his point of view: “I consider that it is an adventure and survival show with trials too. I was often a very good average, very close to the first. I think that we must also do merit on the camp and on survival.”
