A handicap that slows down Elton John's activities
On September 3, via his Instagram account, the artist nicknamed Rocketman announced in a press release that he had a health problem: “This summer, I contracted a severe infection that left me with reduced vision in one eye. I am treating myself, but it is an extremely slow process and it will take time for my affected eye to regain sight.“. The musician took advantage of this speech to thank the medical profession helping him. At the end of November, during a long interview with a journalist from the American television channel ABC, Elton John had explained that he could hardly see anything anymore, since his left eye is also failing him. This even prevents him from returning to the studio: “I can't see the lyrics“.
