This Monday, December 2, the 19th season of Love is in the meadow ends. Since the portraits were broadcast at the start of the year, the farmers lived their adventure during the first seven months: stories that viewers discovered from August 19. The twelve candidates will have accompanied the public's return to school and fall, every Monday. Every week, around 4 million faithful were passionate about the heartbeats of farmers. Ludovic was one of them. The young winemaker fell under the spell of Mélanie whom he had welcomed to the farm, whose relatives he had met and who had flown to Marrakech for a romantic trip. A stay during which Mélanie had expressed some doubts about the possible influence of Ludovic's mother on their love life.

The trip to Morocco did not start in the best conditions for Ludovic and Mélanie: their relationship, still so strong a few weeks earlier, was then shaky. A recent breakup requested by Ludovic had weakened the couple, who were going on a trip in the hope of making a new start. “I was not doing well at all in Marrakech” Ludovic told us in an interview. For him, Mélanie's remarks about his mother were incomprehensible. “My mother was very worried, she was just a mother worried about her son who she didn't see happy” confided the winegrower. “This was misinterpreted by the show. Melanie insisted that my mother was the problem. When I saw the pictures, I didn't think it was okay to say that on television. My mom is like all moms: she wants the best for her son.” he explains. A situation all the more regrettable since he believes that everything had been done to make her feel good: “She spent time with us. We welcomed her like never before. I find it a lack of respect towards my mother and towards me. It's making excuses, when it just couldn't work between us“.

A situation which has consequences in the daily life of his mother. My mother has often been targeted and she is more impacted than me” he adds in conclusion.
