One of the most memorable scenes in Loft Story is undoubtedly that of the physical rapprochement between Loana and Jean-Edouard. Scene that the latter replayed in an advertisement. The winner of the program, in shock, discovers this video twenty years later.
In 2001, M6, not without difficulty, managed to launch the first reality TV show in France on the channel. In Loft Story, twelve candidates were selected to live locked in a house. Friendships were made, relationships were born and tensions arose. In the end, Loana won the show, after having become very close to Jean-Edouard. Indeed, while cameras were installed everywhere in the house and in the garden, the two candidates had a connection in the swimming pool which was similar to a sexual relationship. They subsequently clarified the situation.

In recent months, Loana has been in the news again following the release of the series Worship on Prime Video. A series which traces this reality TV, from the moment it was imagined in France to the consequences it had on viewers and audiences. This is why, the one who encountered numerous health problems agreed to answer Sam Zirah's questions on Youtube. The opportunity for her to react to the public apologies of Jean-Edouard who had moved away from her after this famous scene. “With hindsight and at 44 years old, I can confide that I would have behaved differently to Loana the day after the famous swimming pool scene, I apologize to Loana for this behavior.” he said on TikTok. Excuses that Loana had never heard: “This makes me so happy, I'm going to cry!“
After discovering Jean-Edouard's excuses, Loana discovers that he has parodied their rapprochement: “What a horror!“
Loana quickly became disillusioned after Jean-Edouard's apologies. Indeed, the latter filmed an advertisement in which he reenacts the swimming pool scene. Loana discovers it for the first time more than twenty years later. “I hate him, it's over. Erase everything I told you“she declared furiously. Immediately, she decides to withdraw her previous words and addresses him: “Fuck you!“. She continues and gives the camera a middle finger: “How could he use that… But no?! But it's horrible… What horror! I hate him, it's over”. The exchange continues, but Loana does not come down, so much so that, still hurt, she adds: “Jean-Édouard, you can tell me anything. You can come on all fours, naked with strawberries, I kick him in the face. What a horror to have done that…“
