Previously interviewed in the columns of France Dimanche, Philippe Etchebest spoke about his relationship with his body. It was for him the opportunity to come back in complete frankness on his excesses.
The chef spoke with emotion of his first gourmet memory, linked to his mother. A culinary Proust madeleine which marked him for life and which testifies to his roots. He also shared his favorite dessert, without revealing whether it is a personal creation or a delicacy that he particularly appreciate it.
A stressed body, a balanced lifestyle for Philippe Etchebest
Asked about his relationship with his body, Etchebest admitted to having put a lot of strain on his machine: “I used it a lot, I abused it quite a bit,” he confided. However, he would like to point out that he is not following a drastic diet: “ I don't necessarily pay attention to what I eat, but, on the other hand, I do a lot of sport to maintain myself physically and mentally. “. A balanced approach that allows him to reconcile the demands of his profession with well-being.
Nightmare in the Kitchen broadcast tomorrow evening on M6
M6 viewers will therefore find Philippe Etchebest tomorrow evening for a new issue of Nightmare in the Kitchen. Direction Allas-Les Mines, in Dordogne, where the chef comes to the aid of Béatrice and Christian, a couple of restaurateurs in difficulty. As soon as he arrives on site, the famous chef will be confronted with an unexpected situation to say the least: the owner welcomes him in slippers in front of a closed establishment. A first which says a lot about the state of mind of the owners and the challenges that await them.
A complicated mission
Over the course of the show, the chef will discover the reasons for the restaurant's failure: tasteless cuisine, poor service, and more than problematic inventory management. Faced with these difficulties, Philippe Etchebest will do everything possible to help Béatrice and Christian get things back on track. Will he manage to breathe new life into their establishment and make them smile again? The answer coming soon on M6.
