The counting of votes in the 2024 parliamentary elections is almost completed and it is already clear that seven parties will have representatives in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies in the upcoming mandate. Abroad, the votes from 84.32% of the wards were counted, and in the Chamber of Deputies the ranking is as follows:

• GOLD – 145,971 (25.66%)
• USR – 122.718 (21,57%)
• SOS Romania – 92,301 (16.22%)
• POT – 77.886 (13,69%)
• PNL – 42.494 (7,47%)
• SENS – 21.684 (3,81%)
• PSD – 18.051 (3,17%)

It should be noted that AUR, SOS and the new party POT together have more than 55% of the diaspora's votes.

Nicolae Ciucă got 8 votes, as head of the PNL Dolj list, in one of the wards of his childhood village, Plenița.

With General Ciucă opening the list for the Senate in Dolj, PNL lost the elections in the county: PSD 41%, AUR 18%, PNL 12%, after counting 99% of the wards.
