What feeling after this victory here in La Rochelle?
It's huge. We wanted to make up for last week's match and today mentally, we did 80 minutes. We gave La Rochelle no control in this match and we scored on our highlights. She does good. We enjoyed it with the supporters who were still numerous today. Everyone is obviously euphoric, we simply proved that when we are able to play for 80 minutes, we can bring something back.
What exactly happened this week after this defeat against Bordeaux?
We talked a lot between the leaders this week about what could work, what we could do to stay connected and not have these absences during the match as was the case too often. And everyone spoke up and in the end, there were no small efforts in vain, no one gave up. We immediately talked about this match and we felt that we were capable of doing something here. We built the week well with different things, and it paid off.
You performed well again in scrum…
I felt like there were two more of them sometimes, it was massive. We knew it was their strong point but knew we could compete and it paid off. In the first half, we managed to contain them and in the second half, we took the upper hand. We wanted to not give them too many balls and trust our defense and we didn't give up. Now we have to build on that, believe in ourselves. We are not dropped in the standings, remaining three points behind Lyon. We're going to hang on until the end anyway.
