Notre-Dame de Paris: the much-anticipated reopening of the cathedral
Notre-Dame de Paris is preparing to reopen its doors very soon. A meeting awaited by visitors and tourists.
In a little over a week, the world will have its eyes fixed on Notre-Dame. The cathedral will reopen its doors to visitors 2063 days after the fire. Impatience grew around the square. The traders, in turn, are impatient to meet the visitors who are already rushing to the surroundings of the cathedral. “I am very happy to be here and to have seen the progress of the work. We hope to come soon to be able to visit it again.”declared a visitor from Haute-Saône.
But first, Saturday December 7, it's the heads of state and the bishops who will celebrate the rebirth of Notre-Dame. A concert with numerous artists will also vibrate the walls of the Gothic cathedral. The doors will be open to the public on Sunday December 8 for the first mass celebrated on the new ausuch as Notre-Dame.
