Overall successful week for our French clubs in the Youth League. The day after PSG's overwhelming victory against Bayern Munich (5-2) and Brest's defeat against Barça (2-0), Lille and Monaco each took points, on different scales. First, Lille took one by hanging on to Bologna on its lawn (2-2). Lachaab had unblocked the situation with a superb strike at the entrance to the area for the Northerners (0-1, 21st), before Gattor (1-1, 23rd) and Castaldo (2-1, 51st) allowed the Italians take the advantage.

It was ultimately Ousmane Touré, already used by Bruno Genesio against Atlético de Madrid in C1 this season, who gave his team the point of a draw with a powerful strike (2-2, 62nd). In the standings, Lille is 19th with 7 points, level with PSG, and without having lost a single match despite shocks against Sporting (2nd), Real Madrid, Atlético or even Juventus. Bologna is 31st. Finally, in the other meeting of the afternoon, Monaco won 1-0 against Benfica thanks to a goal from Lucas Michal (44th), being in numerical superiority from the 18th minute of play. The players of Djimi Traoré and Frédéric Barilaro are 17th and virtually play-offs, like Paris and Lille. Benfica is 16th.
