Robert Lewandowski rose to the top scorers of the current season of the Champions League, alone, after scoring two goals in Tuesday’s match against Brest.
Barcelona met Brest at Montjuïc Stadium in the fifth round of the Champions League, the league stage.
Lewandowski was able to score Barcelona’s first goal, in the ninth minute of the first half, from a penalty kick, before adding the third in the 92nd minute.
Lewandowski’s tally thus rose to 7 goals, at the top of the Champions League’s top scorers’ table alone.
On the other hand, Manchester City star Erling Haaland scored two goals in the same round against Feyenoord, one of them from a penalty kick, bringing his tally to 5 goals.
