Heavy to very heavy rains (Latest Rain Alert) are expected at most places in coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till November 28. A red alert (Heavy Rain Alert) has been issued for extremely heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry today. During this time, lightning may also occur in Karaikal and Yanam.
Light to moderate rain may occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura from 27 to 29 November. Apart from this, rain is also expected in Assam and Meghalaya till 30 November.
