HEARING REPORT – The public prosecutor demanded 20 years in prison against the ex-husband of Gisèle Pelicot for “aggravated rape”. The requisitions against his fifty co-defendants continue.
During the night of November 24 to 25, the walls of the streets of Avignon adjoining the court and the ramparts of the City of the Popes were covered with posters: « 20 years for all », it is written, in capital letters. « All »these are the fifty-one accused who, since September 2, have appeared before the Vaucluse criminal court for having committed “aggravated rape” against Gisèle Pelicot. Among them, her ex-husband, Dominique Pelicot, who is accused of having been the « conductor » of this series of rapes.
