Despite his team's victory at the expense of Strasbourg (2-1), the Nice coach did not have a pleasant evening. Victim of a migraine during this match counting for the 12th day of Ligue 1, Franck Haise skipped the traditional post-match press conference and the interview with the broadcaster DAZN.
The Aiglons technician went to the emergency room at the Pasteur hospital in Nice to undergo medical examinations. His health does not cause immediate concern.
Victim of overwork in Lens
Franck Haise, 53, recently told L'Equipe that he experienced a period of overwork last winter while he was at RC Lens. The man who had the dual role of coach-manager had wondered about the rest of his career, even thinking about taking a break before finally focusing on his role as coach.
“The tank was half empty,” he remembers. “I tried to intervene where I thought it would be useful. But I didn't go on all fronts.” Franck Haise will once again be on the Nice bench Thursday evening for the reception of Glasgow Rangers during the 5th day of the Europa League. With this success against Strasbourg, OGC Nice is 5th in Ligue 1, one point off the podium.
