We know what it is the first, the world, the tracks not too wide with the groups stopping in the middle obviously, some excited like the cows finding the meadows closely brushing against the others who are in the way…but we ask for more and we come back!
We went from nothing to around thirty centimeters at the station, it was already unexpected.
Snow and -11ºC last night, deep blue and -4°C this morning and +5ºC this afternoon in the shade of course, quite a welcome warm spell in the end.
First a Plein Sud, a little frozen and narrow, a well-prepared Dalles then direction Orelle via Grand Fond under the ☁️…
The open Maurienne slope will have made it possible to go and find the ☀️ which disappeared too quickly from Val Thorens, the snow will even transform in places against a background of well-dug bumps for getting the legs up, but you need what you need!
After an aperitif on a mound cleared of snow by the wind, thee ???? returned to the Belleville side and wanting to escape the crowds crowded on the open slopes, we jumped at the opportunity to do the closed Falaise slope, in natural trafolled snow, which we followed on Fond then Lagopède and Gentiane certainly also closed but in excellent conditions ????????????????
Return home via Moutière then Cascade, then it’s time for the well-deserved ????????
First Live but not the last, I send my warmest thanks to Skipass as well as to the Val Thorens resort (SETAM & OT) for this magnificent ???? increased by the 3 Vallées extension ????????????????
