At the Palais des Sports in Marseille, Jordan Zebo won by unanimous decision to win his 7th career victory. Against a defensive Vincent Del Guerra, the Fauve continued and scored an encouraging victory at Ares 27.
Jordan Zebo (6-1-0) secured his Classico, at the Palais des Sports in Marseille. The MMA Factory Paris fighter won by unanimous decision against the Marseillais, Vincent Del Guerra (31-21-1), during Ares 27. The Fauve therefore won his 7th career victory, for only one defeat (facing Cédric Doumbé at the PFL, in September 2023).
An intelligent and calm victory from Zebo
The poster was eagerly awaited in this Ares 27 main card. Unfortunately, the comabt did not keep all of its promises. Despite two fighters focused on striking, the duel took place more on the ground. During the 3 rounds, Jordan Zebo looked for his opponent to be knocked down. A strategy that he succeeded quite well, landing far more punches than his opponent. 5 takedowns for the Fauve, against two for his opponent. 130 blows given against 62. Zebo, without putting on a show, still managed to win by unanimous decision, against a fighter 10 years his senior, and with 46 more fights in his career.
“I didn't want to fall into a trap. I made sure I was composed and thanks to my coaches, I obtained a great victory by unanimous decision. No finish but I won intelligently and That was the plan,” said Jordan Zebo after the fight.
