HIGHLIGHTS

In this slightly shorter special, the gaps are very small with the first six grouped in just 2s7. Beaten by the two usual C3s in SS1, Eric Camilli took his first scratch by beating Yoann Bonato by two tenths.

Handicapped by radio problems on his C3, Léo Rossel still set the third fastest time. For his return to Var after five years of absence, Mathieu Franceschi is in the right rhythm. Overall, the top five overall are held within just nine seconds.

Candidate for a good scratch place and 9th after SS1, Louis Constant went off the road. Following this exit, the special was interrupted for a few minutes to move the Hyundai i20N Rally2.

G.Mercoiret 6:36.0	It's a bit of a hassle. We had radio problems in SS1, and the emergency one had bugs too, so I tried to shout as much as possible.

A. With Floch	The turbo hose became disconnected after 3-4 km. You have to watch behind to make sure you don't bother anyone.
A.Borderie	First special a little more complicated because Eric hasn't raced recently. We changed little things and I think it was better.
F.Barral	We changed drivers but we kept the same helmet, the same car and the same partners. I'm very happy to be back on French asphalt, it feels good.
B.Manzo	We are celebrating 10 years of the podium with the 206 WRC. The goal is to have fun.
