Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine suspects Frédéric Lopez of trapping his guests

Readers will find, for example, Cyril Lignac's salt-crusted sea bass, Vianney's shells or even Santa's vegan burger. This book comes out three days before the broadcast of the fiftieth issue of the show which will receive Kendji Girac, Dany Boon and the novelist Virginie Grimaldi. On the occasion of these two events around the program, Frédéric Lopez was the guest of Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine in C to you on France 5. The host asked her colleague about this key sequence from A Sunday in the Country during which the personalities cook: “It's a trap you're setting for them, a nice trap! As they are focused on preparing a meal, following a recipe, they answer questions more easily. This is a key moment in the show where we open up more!“.

A Sunday in the countryside : an idea born in Meet in unknown land !

Frédéric Lopez responded by making a revelation about the genesis of this successful show, which was inspired by him during the filming of another of his very popular shows. “So it’s true that that’s how I got the idea for the program. In fact, when I left In unknown land with guests, some showed me their corner: Muriel Robin introduced me to Corsica, Patrick Timsit introduced me to a corner of … And while they were cooking or washing dishes , I said to myself: 'But, it's funny… They've never said that in an interview'! Because, I don't know, we're more relaxed. And, really, the concept came from there“, confided Frédéric Lopez.
