Surprise on the way to school, on the morning of Thursday, November 21. Under a layer of snow of several centimeters, the town center of Vitré (Ille-et-Vilaine) and the castle take on a magical air. For many residents who travel without a car, getting to work is not easy. Some did not anticipate: “I didn’t think there would be so many in town”deplores a woman.
In the fields, a thin film is still visible at the end of the morning. But on the road, the snow melted faster. As a precaution, the salt spreaders clean the ring road and remain on alert. After the mild spell, temperatures should approach 0 degrees in the evening. For now, the snow has moved towards the center and east of France.
