Top WWE Star Open To NXT Return: “I’d Make Myself Available”

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan is very open to having a run in NXT if the opportunity becomes available.

Multiple top stars from the main roster have made the trip down to NXT over the past few years. Along with the benefit of the increase in the ratings, the stars of tomorrow have also been given the opportunity to work with the established stars in the company.

Beginning her WWE career in NXT in 2015, Morgan remained a part of the brand up until her 2018 call-up as part of The Riott Squad. While Morgan is currently at the top of the Raw division, a trip to NXT could also be on the cards.

While appearing on The Ringer’s Wrestling Worldwide show, Morgan stated that although she is not actively campaigning to return to NXT she would make the trip if offered a spot on the show:

“I’m kind, you know, of not waiting [to go to NXT] per se, but I’m like, if they ever wanted to call me, I’d make myself available. I think top to bottom their division is so incredible and I’m just like, wow, how lucky are we that we are like secure for the next generation of women wrestlers.

It’s cool because you always want to leave things better than how you found it and I look at them and I’m like, ‘Wow, I can’t wait to watch them.’ Giulia, Stephanie [Vaquer]Roxanne [Perez]Cora [Jade]Jaida Parker, Thea Hail, Lola Vice, Lash [Legend]Bag [Jackson]all of them, I think they’re all really really talented. Tatum Paxley, I’m excited to mix it up with all of them and I’m sure I will.”

Liv Morgan Preparing For WarGames At WWE Survivor Series

Having crossed paths with Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair in the past few months, Morgan has a target on her back. Additionally, the Women’s World Champion is set to defend her title against Iyo Sky at a date to be confirmed. Before the title match, Morgan will be one of 10 women competing inside the WarGames match at Survivor Series, which will be her first appearance inside the structure.
