The city center metro station De Brouckère is partly closed this Thursday.
Several of you have reported movement near the De Brouckère metro station, located in the center of Brussels. “Significant presence of emergency vehicles”Nathalie informs us while Max emphasizes that access is “completely closed”.
Part of said station – access to the tram – is effectively closed due to an event that occurred around 3 p.m. Lines 4 and 10 are interrupted between Lemonnier and the Gare du Nord.
The origin of this closure is a personal accident. “According to our information, this person is not injured,” the Brussels firefighters tell us. The Stib confirms the accident and affirms that the tram would have managed to stop before a tragedy occurred. The exact circumstances of the facts are unknown.
The emergency response is still in progress.
