ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) – FIRST ALERT 7 Forecast for Thursday, November 21st, 2024: It’ll be another chilly start to what will be a mild Thursday across West Texas and southeast New Mexico.
Temperatures overnight will drop into the 30s and 40s across West Texas and southeast New Mexico. Although temperatures to start off the day will be chilly, conditions will warm pleasantly through the day. Highs with warm into the 60s and 70s. Midland is looking to reach a high of 68 degrees while Odessa is looking to reach a high of 69 degrees. Winds will be light, between 5 and 10 miles per hour. Mostly sunny skies and quiet conditions are expected across the region.
Conditions continue to warm as we round out the work week and head into the weekend with unseasonably warm temperatures expected, especially on Sunday. Sunday’s high temperature looks to be just about 15 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Even though there will be some variation in temperatures, they will remain above normal for the majority of the extended period. A cold front on Monday will cool things down slightly as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday. The good news is that conditions look to remain dry through the extended forecast, so any holiday travel plans shouldn’t be impacted.
