Sarah Puttemans recently made a special trip to Japan with her family, including Viktor Verhulst. Although the journey had impressive moments, not everything went as hoped.
A visit to Mount Fuji, where the family traveled specially from Tokyo, turned out to be a disappointment. In her vlog, Sarah says: “Our activity today did not turn out well at all. We had to take a gondola up, which took three hours. Afterwards it turned out that we could have informed ourselves better, because there was an easier way to get to the top. mountain.”
To make matters worse, the view of the iconic mountain was also obscured by clouds. “I had seen in pictures how beautiful it is, but unfortunately we weren’t very lucky with the weather,” she adds.
A visit to the city of Nara was also disappointing. The drive from Kyoto, normally a two-hour journey, took no less than five hours due to circumstances. Once we arrived it turned out not to be worth it. “It really was a tourist trap,” says Sarah. The family spent only two hours in the city before making the long journey home.
