Payments via PIX, which have become popular in Brazil, are responsible for a large part of transactions in Commerce, especially in Micro and Small Businesses (MSEs). Aiming to make the system safer and more efficient, the Central Bank (Bacen) announced, at the beginning of November, a series of measures that reinforce security against digital fraud, in addition to announcing new payment methods to make business even easier.

The November edition of the newsletter MEI Express breaks down all the new features of this popular payment method, which can serve as an opportunity for Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) to improve financial management and the customer service experience.

The bulletin also presents three methodologies for good inventory management to improve the financial health and competitiveness of any business. The techniques just in timesafety stock and rotation emerge as key strategies that help the company operate sustainably and avoid losses.

In the “MEI Profession” column, the publication highlights opportunities in the digital marketing segment, which meets business demands in adapting to the online environment, in which many MEIs find a large market to offer specialized services to other businesses.

Finally, the article by Alberto Borges de Carvalho Júnior, technical advisor at the Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP), highlights six tips to protect yourself from tax scams, such as the fake Documents guide Collection of the Simples Nacional (DAS) and the Federal Revenue Service.
