When will Bitcoin rise above $100,000? The chances are good that it will happen in the next day. But for crypto bulls like Michael Saylor, that’s not all. The head of MicroStrategy is sure: Even Warren Buffett would buy if he only heard the right arguments.
Of course Saylor would have the arguments ready. “If I had an hour alone with Buffett in a quiet environment, that would be enough,” said the manager in the PBD Podcast. “Buffett would say afterwards: Charlie (Munger, editor’s note) would have liked it, we’ll buy a few Bitcoins.”
Saylor has zero understanding of Buffett’s strategy of endlessly hoarding cash. “They are destroying $3 billion of capital owned by shareholders every month. At best, you achieve an after-tax return of three percent, while the cost of capital is 15 percent. That results in a real negative return of twelve percent.”
Buffett has continued to sell Apple shares massively in recent months and also reduced other positions. Berkshire Hathaway’s cash mountain has risen to $325 billion. The market is faced with the puzzle – the most logical explanation: Buffett, who will be 95 next year, is largely making room for his successor in his portfolio.
Saylor, however, continues to put every cent into Bitcoin. MicroStrategy currently owns 331,200 Bitcoins – currently worth $31.1 billion. The market value is 97 billion dollars. However, MicroStrategy has been valued at a hefty premium to Bitcoin for many months – but investors have continued to buy the stock.

This has resulted in the MicroStrategy position in the AKTIONÄR portfolio already being up 160 percent since it was purchased on October 7th. As long as Bitcoin is running, MicroStrategy should fly.
