The third round witnessed the victory of the Egyptian national team over Libya by two goals to one, while the national teams of Algeria and Morocco tied with one goal for each team, and the Eagles of Carthage did not participate in the current round.
The five aforementioned teams are competing to obtain two qualifying cards for the African Nations Finals, with the winner and the runner-up winning them.
The North African Championship qualifiers are played in a single group system, with each team playing 4 matches and those with the most points qualifying.

It is scheduled that the Egyptian national team will be exempted from participating in the fourth round, and will return to face Tunisia in the fifth round, on the twenty-sixth of November.
