The verdict is final. Under the influence of cocaine, he was involved in a serious road accident that occurred in Seine-et-Marne on February 10, 2023. The collision left three seriously injured, including a 6-year-old child and a pregnant woman who had lost her baby. More than a year after this tragedy, the actor took the stand of the Melun judicial court this Wednesday, November 20. At the end of this trial for “unintentional injuries”started at 9:45 a.m., the requisitions fell. The prosecution also requested an obligation of care, an obligation to exercise a professional activity and to compensate the civil party. “We cannot be too lenient when the damage has occurred and driving under the influence of drugs has caused a tragedy”indicated prosecutor Marie-Denise Pichonnier to theAFP. Invited to speak one last time, Muriel Robin's former friend declared that he “wish with all my heart” that the victims “can rebuild themselves”. “I saw them in real life today and it shocked me”he confided. Pierre Palmade mishandled by the judge at his trial: “We have a brain like you!”
After a very discreet arrival in a black SUV with tinted windows, Pierre Palmade made his first statements at the opening of his trial at the Melun criminal court. Pierre Palmade, who “seems to move with some difficulty” according to the journalist present at the hearing, entered the courtroom and began by stating his identity with a voice “relatively clear”: “I am Pierre Palmade, I was born on March 23, 1968, in Bordeaux”. Subsequently, he spoke about his drug use at the judge's request.
Used to taking drugs, he explained that he had taken “three or four rails of coke to wake up”before getting behind the wheel on the day of the accident. Faced with the comedian's comments, the president then began to raise his voice. “I take three or four shots of coke to wake me up. But isn't there a problem in your sentence? I will admit to you that I don’t understand…”he retorted. “Yes I know. But we don’t have a brain…”then tried to explain Pierre Palmade, before the judge cut in: “Oh no, no, no! We have a brain like you. Why didn't it click? This is not a value judgment. But if we are addicts, we don’t do that.”
