Trial of Pierre Palmade: two years in prison required against the comedian

Tried this Wednesday after his drug-induced road accident in February 2023, Pierre Palmade will soon know the verdict. The public prosecutor's office (Seine-et-) requested five years in prison, including two years.

Will justice follow the prosecution's requisitions?

This Wednesday, November 20, Pierre Palmade appears before the Melun court for the road accident under drugs which took place in February 2023 in Seine-et-Marne.

The prosecution requested against the actor five years in prison, three of which are suspended on probation.

The comedian, who said to himself “overwhelmed” for the victims, admitted the facts and volunteered for detoxification.

The hearing was suspended to allow the court to deliberate.

Three seriously injured and the death of a fetus

The facts date back to February 10, 2023. After several days of drug use, Pierre Palmade and two other individuals got into a car to go shopping.

On the way, the 56-year-old artist caused a road accident which left three seriously injured: a 38-year-old man, his six-year-old son and his 27-year-old sister-in-law. The latter will lose her baby because of the accident.
