This Thursday from 6 a.m., 28 departments will be placed on orange snow-ice vigilance, Météo France announced this Wednesday. A large swath going from Côtes-d'Armor to Doubs via Île-de-France is affected. 38 departments will also be on snow-ice yellow vigilance.
“The Caetano depression will cross France from west to east, and will cause snowfall to the north of its trajectory, on an axis going from North Brittany/Normandy to the Grand-Est”reports Météo France.
In detail, the departments concerned by orange vigilance are: Aube, Calvados, Côte-d'Or, Côtes-d'Armor, Doubs, Eure, Eure-et-Loir, 'Ille-et-Vilaine, Loir-et-Cher, Loiret, Manche, Haute-Marne, Mayenne, Orne, Haut-Rhin, Haute-Saône, Sarthe, Paris, Seine-et-Marne, Yvelines, Vosges, Yonne, Territoire de Belfort, Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de- Marne, Val-d’Oise.
Furthermore this Wednesday, the two Corsican departments are still on orange “wind” alert.
