Has the Maison des Combattants, in Avignon, become a shooting gallery? The question may seem strange but it is indeed what Didier Daniel, its president, fears.
On the evening of Sunday, November 17, he noticed that one of the walls of the building was riddled with a dozen bullet holes. One of them even went through one of the windows to lodge itself in the false ceiling of a corridor. Luckily, no one was present and no injuries were reported.
The police and forensic identification came to see the damage. The town hall, owner of the walls, filed a complaint. “We do not know the caliber of the bullet usedexplains the president, it was completely destroyed.“
Avoid having meetings after dark

In addition to the bullet holes, two tags, on which the words “the brothers” were written, were made with black spray paint, on one of the walls and on an adjoining low wall. A specialist company carried out the cleaning.
