We no longer have to wait for Pinkpop’s first big announcement, which will take place today at 11 am. Muse reveals in their tour schedule on their own site that they will play at the Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf on Sunday, June 22, 2025. Muse will undoubtedly be the headliner and will therefore close the festival on Pinkpop Sunday. After the confirmation of Janet Livv, who can perform at Pinkpop because she won the Limburg Pop Prize, Muse is the first confirmation for the upcoming edition of Pinkpop.
Muse is a welcome guest at Pinkpop. The band led by Matthew Bellamy already performed at the Pinkpop festival in 2015, 2007, 2004, 2002 and 2000. It was recently announced that Muse would perform a show at the Tons of Rock festival in Norway, which will include a show at the Pinkpop festival.
Of course, Muse needs little introduction. The alternative rock band, founded in 1994, consists of three members: Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, piano), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Dominic Howard (drums). The band is known for their innovative blend of rock, electronica, classical influences and progressive elements, as well as their spectacular live performances. Their last album ‘Will of the People’ was released in 2022.
Pinkpop will take place in 2025 from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 22. The location is the familiar Megaland event site in Landgraaf. Pinkpop has been listed in the Guinness Record Book since 1990 as the oldest pop festival in the Netherlands, and is the longest-running annual festival in the world. It is expected that more information about ticket sales for Pinkpop 2025 will be announced at 11:00 am. We will of course keep you informed!
