Sometimes very good in preseason, like this 16-point quarter against Charlotte, Pacôme Dadiet had logically disappeared a little from the Knicks rotation at the start of the season. Until this week, where he got 40 minutes of play in the space of three games. Used 18 minutes last night against Washington, his career record, the former Ratiopharm Ulm player took the opportunity to sign his best game in the league with 9 points at 3/7, 3 rebounds and 2 assists during the wide victory for New York (134-106).

Opposite, while Washington was deprived of Bilal Coulibaly (blow to the face), Alexandre Sarr lacked success. The No. 2 in the Draft shot 4/12, including 0/4 from 3-point range, for 8 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 24 minutes.

However, despite Dadiet, the most prominent rookie was the number 1 of the vintage, Zaccharie Risacher. The French international scored his second offensive mark in Sacramento, with 18 points (6/11), accompanied by 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 interceptions and 1 block. He started very strong, scoring 9 of Atlanta's first 11 points. The Hawks winger, however, experienced the thrilling finale in Sacramento on the bench, certainly punished for an avoidable lost ball committed at the start of money-time. In California, his team scored its seventh victory of the season (109-108).

Less encouraging, however: the performances of Guerschon Yabusele since the return of Joel Embiid to the Sixers rotation. In three matches alongside his tormentor in the Olympic final, the Eurélien averaged 3.3 points. The outing in Miami was no exception to the rule (3 points at 1/4, 4 rebounds and 1 assist). Above all, the former Real Madrid interior obtained his lowest playing time of the season: only 10 minutes. And he wasn't called onto the floor until the very end of the third quarter! With the worst record in the NBA (2v-11d), tied with Washington, Philadelphia is still adrift.
