In the space of three weeks, singer Slimane was targeted by two complaints. The latest was filed for sexual assault, this Monday, November 18, 2024. What we know.
Already the subject of a complaint for sexual harassment, the singer Slimanewho represented France during Eurovision 2023, was targeted again. This time, for sexual assault, according to Le Parisien.
A lighting technician
As revealed by our colleagues, a complaint was filed on Monday November 18, 2024, by a 33 year old lighting technician. He worked for Play Two, producer of Slimane's tour. The facts date back to the night of December 17 to 18, 2023: a window which correlates with that first accusations of sexual harassment. They were also the subject of a complaint, filed three weeks ago.
“Say, you’re good.”
In the complaint from this Monday, which our colleagues were able to consult, it is indicated that the scene allegedly occurred at a backstage partyperformed to celebrate the end of the first part of the “Cupid Tour”. On this occasion, the technician dances, when Slimane goes behind him whispering in his ear: “Say, you’re good,” to which the 33-year-old man responds, jokingly: “I’m good, but only on Sundays.” The singer repliesgrabbing him by the waist: “I don’t care, it’s Saturday night.”
Still according to the complaint, Slimane would have placed his penis erect between the technician's buttocks and was about to put his hand on the latter's penis. But the artist's brother, who saw the scenegrabbed his hand to interrupt him. And orders those who filmed this scene, among the witnesses, to delete the videos.
“It’s just a party”
After talking to his loved ones about it when he got home, the 33-year-old man learned that other technicians were victims of the same facts and left the tour. During a meeting with his bosses, the complainant indicated that the managers of Play Two would have minimized the seriousness of the facts: “It's okay, guys, what he did was not harmful, it's just a party“. For the moment, the artist's entourage still hasn't provided a response to our colleagues.
