The future media group, the Rfm in particular, as usual for each election in Senegal, invites statisticians to evaluate the results in advance. On, after the work of these statisticians, they gave the current trend with the possible number of seats that each party or coalition of parties should have.
So, here are the current trends (Note that there are still 14 seats left) to be determined
National proportional list:
• PASTEF: 29 seats
• SAVE YOUR ROAD: 8 seats.
• TAKKU WALLU: 7 seats
• COMFORT & CONVENIENCE: 4 seats.
• Other parties: 4 seats
Departmental majority list:
• PASTEF: 90 seats
• TAKKU WALLU: 8 seats
• COMFORT & CONVENIENCE: 1 seat.
• SAMM SA KADDU: None (0) seats won at this stage
Provisional total:
• PASTEF: 119 seats, thus reaching an absolute majority.
• TAKKU WALLU: 15 seats
• SAVE YOUR ROAD: 8 seats.
• COMFORT & CONVENIENCE: 5 seats.
. Other formations: 4 seats
These results are still partial, and the distribution of the 52 remaining seats could modify the final composition of the National Assembly.
Nevertheless, PASTEF’s current performance suggests a consolidation of its dominant position on the Senegalese political scene.
