19.5/20 average!
In a duel against the Auberge de la Haute Joux, located in Doubs, the two sisters multiplied the congratulations from the two chefs, testers of their dishes. And they didn't even flinch when Norbert Tarayre and Yoann Conte wondered upon their arrival if there were indeed any inhabitants in this small Charolais village… “In the summer, there are more people in our restaurant than in the village ! », They replied with a smile. Before sitting down to eat, they were able to discover the restaurant in the presence of local guests, such as the Brotherhood of Charolais Country Flavors and the Morvan folk group, Laï Gimbeurtée d'Chiddes.
The chefs were then full of praise for their cuisine. The escarboeuf, the restaurant's flagship dish, was unanimously awarded a 20/20. “We cried with joy when we heard the grades. We've had to keep our participation a secret for months, now we can take advantage of it, it's nice! », say the managers after the broadcast when they received “hundreds of messages of support”. With an exceptional average of 19.5/20, the final now awaits them this Friday, November 22, from 5:20 p.m.
Marly celebrating Friday
The four remaining restaurateurs will decide before the grand final which will pit the two best against each other. For the occasion, a giant screen will be installed in the Marly-sur-Arroux village hall. The two sisters invited around a hundred people (relatives, local producers, loyal customers) to thank them and experience the rest of their great adventure together.
