A young man died while carrying out repairs on his car on Sunday in Doubs. The jack that the victim had placed under his vehicle gave way and crushed him.
Horror scene on Sunday in Pouligney-Lusans (Doubs). A 22-year-old man died after being crushed under his car, reports The Republican East . According to the first observations made by the gendarmes, the young man was carrying out repairs on his vehicle and had installed a jack to slide under the chassis. The lifting device would then have given way and caused the car to fall on its owner.
Witnesses called emergency services early in the afternoon to help the young man, unconscious under the vehicle. Arriving on site, firefighters attempted resuscitation after extracting the victim. In vain. The police noticed his death around 3 p.m.
