J.Lo Wears Sheer Zuhair Murad Gown to 2024 Governors Awards

Jennifer Lopez was one of the many, many, mannnny celebrities to show up at the 15th annual Governors Awards last night and truly turned it out for the red carpet. The multi-hyphenate (who’s been getting Oscar buzz for her role in Unstoppable) arrived in a sheer beaded gown by Zuhair Murad, featuring a dramatic black train. Pretty sure these photos are what you’d find if you looked up “STUNS” in the dictionary (at least they should be—take note, Merriam-Webster).

J.Lo has been promoting Unstoppable ahead of awards season, and the timing is just slightly awkward considering the movie was produced by Ben Affleck—who she’s in the middle of divorcing. The actor recently opened up to People about her holiday plans coming off an “intense” year, saying she’ll be spending time with family.

“It was a pretty intense year for me and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast,” she explained. “The holidays are such a special time for us and they’ve always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories.”

Meanwhile, a source tells the Daily Mail that Ben is “over the constant questions” about J.Lo and “just wants to move on…hence the divorce. This whole divorce is dragging on too which has him a bit stressed.”
