On the night of December 12 to 13, the Game Awards will be held, at the end of which many games will be awarded titles, including the prestigious “game of the year”. In addition to that, like previous years, we will be entitled to trailers and even announcements of new games! Remember, it was on this occasion that the Xbox Series
Xbox stands out, but will not have GOTY in 2024
If last year Xbox had clearly missed the call, the company is back in force this time with 12 nominations, thanks to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (4), Diablo IV (2), Senua's Saga: Hellblade II (4), Age of Mythology: Retold (1) and the Fallout series (1).
For comparison, PlayStation is in first position with 16 nominations, and Xbox on the podium, tied with Square Enix and its 12 nominations. The most named games are ASTRO BOT (7) and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
