Regragui Demands For More Ahead Of Lesotho Game

Walid Regragui, the head coach of Morocco, has cautioned his team against getting ahead of themselves in their forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho, which takes place at the Honneur Stadium on Monday night.

Despite having already secured a place in the upcoming tournament due to their hosting role, the Atlas Lions have won every one of their qualification games.

With a 5-1 victory over Gabon in their most recent match, the Moroccans are now leading Group B with 15 points as of right now.

At the Adrar Stadium in the Souss-Massa area of their nation, the team defeated Lesotho 1-0 in their most recent meeting in September.

Although Likuena has very little chance of making it to the next Afcon, they will undoubtedly be playing for pride in this match.

Walid Regragui, the head coach of Morocco, is pleased with his team’s performance in the qualifications but isn’t bragging about their flawless record thus far.

We won by five goals to one [against Gabon] and succeeded in correcting several aspects of our play,” he said.

“We were more solid both defensively and offensively.

“This performance reflects our progress, but we know there’s still significant work ahead.”

The coach also demonstrated his dedication to assisting in the team’s development and ensuring that they maintain their outstanding performance.
