WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Consider this an ‘in-between’ week. We start with no snow in the forecast, and not a lot of rain. We end on a different note.
It will be chilly all week, as you’d expect this time of year.
Today it will be cloudy, with a high in the low 50s. There’s a modest chance of rain in the northern part of St. Lawrence County.
It will be cloudy tonight, and a low of 34.
Tuesday, we’ll see a little more sunshine, but it will be colder than today, with a high in the upper 40s. Tuesday night, more clouds and a low of 36 in Jefferson and Lewis counties, a little colder – think right around 32 degrees – as you drive north.
Wednesday starts with sunshine in Jefferson and Lewis counties, and a high in the mid-50s. There is a chance of showers after 4 PM, and the rain Wednesday night, with a low of 40.
Further north, Wednesday should be all sunshine, with a high of 48. There’s a chance of rain Wednesday night after 10 PM.
Once we get past Wednesday, a mix of rain and snow showers are in the forecast for Jefferson and Lewis counties, with just rain – so far – for St. Lawrence County. If we get any snow that sticks, the National Weather Service says it will be the wet, heavy lake effect kind. More to come on that as we get into our work week.
For now, enjoy not having shovel or snow blow. It’ll be here soon enough.
