After a popular welcome on their return, it was a cold shower for the Black Devils of Combani. If they were able to continue their journey in the Coupe de France until the 8th round, the French Football Federation noted two falsified medical certificates and invited the league to impose sanctions.
“Four points withdrawn for a question of identity of a player, although validated by our league for several years, and disqualification in the Mayotte Cup following a misinterpretation of the FFF minutes, despite our supporting documents and our ongoing appeal“, lists the Combani club on its social networks.
