LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Clouds stick around for part of our Saturday but our skies will stay calm. After a gloomy day for our Friday, some of the clouds stick around for the first half of our day. Some drier air is set to spill into our region in parts of the afternoon which will help break up those clouds, giving much of southern and eastern Kentucky glimpses of some sunshine. Temps are a little warmer for our forecast and are in the mid to upper 50s for our region. Winds stay light.
Sunday will start in the 40s with a few areas dipping into the 30s in the overnight into Sunday morning. Clouds will return to our area for the end of the weekend, but not nearly as overcast as Friday’s skies. Sunday’s temps will feel even warmer with them climbing into the 60s.
Next week things are set to get busy, so take advantage of this weekend’s calm weather. Temps are set to stay warm and in the 60s on Monday but late Monday some rain should roll- in. Rain chances will stick around for part of the week, but once a cold front passes over us on Wednesday, we are going to see a few flake chances on Thursday and Friday.
Have a great Saturday – Let’s Go Cats!
